The Google Assistant is going to become available in more countries and languages this year. It is currently available in eight languages, and Google says that by the end of the year it will be available in more than 30. This would make the Google Assistant available to 95% of all Android phones worldwide. The first new languages will be added in the next few months and will include Hindi, Thai, Indonesian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Dutch. Google has also announced that the Assistant is going to become multilingual, to help people or families that speak more than one language. The multilingual feature will first be launched for English, German and French, with more languages to be added as time goes on.
