The Chinese search engine Baidu has revealed that it had a strong Q4 2017. Its Q4 revenues totalled 23.6 billion yuan, equivalent to $3.7 billion, up 29% on the same period the previous year. It has also announced that it is going to put its video platform iQiyi on the US stock market, in an attempt to raise money to drive further growth of the platform. The Chinese online video landscape is hotting up at the moment. iQiyi is battling against Tencent Video and Youku Tudou for the country's 220 million-strong video subscription market.
